Design Concept

This was an interactive installation designed for Melbourne Design Week 2020 and exhibited at Uber Art gallery. The brief was to design and introduce an eco-friendly future money system by using an interactive video installation.

Four detailed videos with different facts were randomly auto played when audiences approached the installation.

Interactive Poster

The diagram poster displayed four elements of how the new money system would affect the environment. When audiences walked near the installation, the sensor would activate the poster. The relevant part of the poster automatically lit up while a detailed video played.

Four different materials were attached to the poster to provide something tangible and touchable, like fossil samples in a museum, to bring the presentation to life.

Design Details

A logo was designed for the brand identity.

Videos used infographics to express how the system works effectively and educationally.

Exhibiiton Posters

A series of posters were made for the whole “Reconstrained” exhibition and shown at UberArt. It combined abstract 3D structure and typography to explore explanations of the meaning of Reconstained.

The illustrations in the background were a series of pictures generated from coding.
